I knew I wanted to print most of my photography in a different medium other than photo paper and fabric, since I love to sew, seems like the perfect choice. Pillow covers are an easy item to make and they are fun for home decor when wall space may be at a premium, but I wanted to not only use my own photograph, but my own backing fabric, as well.
I came to this conclusion after spending the other day shopping at all the big-box fabric stores and coming away with nothing, even though I had 40% - 50% off coupons in hand. Everything looked, well, uninspired and in-the-box, so I knew my 1906 Montgomery Ward Catalogue that I bought from eBay back in 2002 might come in handy.
This advertisement from the catalogue naturally caught my eye:

My e-mail shows that it was sent in today's mail, so watch for new creations coming soon!
